Department: Membership & Event
United Boxing Club is a community built around boxing, fitness, and personal growth. The Head of Community & Membership is responsible for growing and retaining our membership base and building the kind of community experience that makes people want to stay.
You’ll own the membership journey, from first inquiry to long-term member by leading events, partnerships, on-boarding and client touch-points that make United feel like The Home of Champions.
Overview
❋ Community
You’ll grow and nurture the United community by building real relationships, leading events and collaborations, and helping create the day-to-day atmosphere that makes members feel at home inside the club and online.
❋ Membership
You’ll own the full membership pipeline—from online inquiries and trials to sign-ups, renewals, and retention—using strong admin and tech skills to keep our CRM, bookings, and follow-ups tight and organized.
Grow Membership & Community : Lead the membership pipeline (leads, tours, trials, sign-ups, renewals) and build real relationships with members on the floor.
Plan & Host Community Events: Organize and support member events (socials, fight nights, Fitness activations, open houses, charity nights) that bring the community together.
Member Experience & Retention: Create simple “member moments” (welcome check-ins, follow-ups, anniversaries) and gather feedback to keep members feeling seen, supported, and valued.
Admin, Systems & Digital Support: Use our CRM and booking tools to keep member info, notes, and follow-ups organized, and support basic social / email updates around events and membership news.
Key Responsibilities
2–4+ years in a member-facing role: community, events, hospitality, fitness, co-working, or similar.
Hands-on experience with basic admin: email, scheduling, CRM/booking software, and light reporting.
Past involvement in planning or executing events (small or large) is a strong asset.
